I participate in the KIhei Canoe Club and I participate in this club with Ashlyn, Jordyn, and Byron. This club is a paddling club that does many drills like swimming, workouts, regatta practice racing, and conditioning. I have paddled for 4 years and I am usually a stroker in my group. Our practices are mainly from 3:30 to 5 and during the summer break it is 9 to 11. We have two coaches Mrs. Federoff and Coach Vanessa. They have taught me how to paddle correctly and this led up to me becoming a stroker. The defining moment was when I got to go to states for the first time; I have never been more proud of my work ethic in paddling.

The RIF Run Club is an outside sports club with activities after the long runs. I participate in this sports with Byron. We do a multitude of various workouts like the 45 minute run and the tempo run. Its fun and gives you a good physical and mental workout. Our practices are from 3 to 5. Sometimes starting at 3:30 to 5. The club occurs outside of the school cross country and track season. We have 4 coaches and after our workouts we do activities like answering questions, and meditation. Overall, this is one of the clubs that help me find my center.
